Draft for the preview. Not a counsel-approved contract. These terms describe how to use the education site and the Decision Lab. They replace the short generic terms that were on the old site, which did not match the product. A lawyer should review them before DNS cutover and again before any public sale of Plus.
Education, not advice
Healthy Money LLC publishes education. Articles, the Decision Lab, and any Decision Report are hypothetical illustrations. They are not financial, investment, tax, legal, or retirement advice. They are not a personalized plan, a forecast, or a guarantee. You are responsible for what you type and for what you do with what you read.
The Lab’s assumptions, including 2.5% inflation, are described on how the math works. Outputs depend on those assumptions and on your inputs. Real life includes taxes, fees, markets, and benefits the model leaves out.
Using the site and the Lab
You may read the site and use the free Decision Lab for your own learning. Do not misuse the service, attempt to break it, or present its output as advice from Healthy Money.
The Lab and the site are provided “as is.” To the extent the law allows, Healthy Money disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Healthy Money is not liable for decisions you make, money you gain or lose, or damages arising from use of the materials or the calculator. Some places do not allow certain disclaimers. In those places, the disclaimer applies only as far as the law allows.
Plus is not for sale on this site
Public purchase of Plus is not open. This website does not take payment and does not link to a checkout. Do not send money for Plus. If a report or the dials are already available inside the Lab for your use, that is separate from a public offer to buy.
Intended terms, not yet in effect
When Stephen opens a public offer, the intended commercial terms are the ones below. They are an owner draft. They do not apply today, because there is no offer. Counsel needs to review them first.
- Price: $49, once. Not a subscription. The Decision Lab stays free.
- What you would get: a personal, non-transferable license to generate and keep the educational Decision Report for your own learning, including the dials described on the Plus page.
- You would still be responsible for the accuracy of your inputs.
- Refunds: the owner’s draft is a 14-day refund for any reason, by emailing info@healthymoney.io. After 14 days, the draft says purchases are final except where the law requires otherwise. This refund policy is not a live promise until a sale exists and counsel confirms it.
- The software would stay “as is” educational software, with the same advice boundary as the rest of the site.
- Payment disputes would go through the card processor used at that time. No payment link is published here.
- Proposed governing law: Virginia, USA, where the owner is located. Counsel has to confirm that.
The printed report’s own disclaimer would stay on the report.
Privacy
The privacy notice describes this preview. It is also waiting on counsel before it replaces the January 16, 2023 notice.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. If you keep using the site after the date changes, you are looking at the posted version. A sale of Plus, if it ever opens, will need terms that are actually in effect at the register, not only this draft.
